This punch-down tool is designed to be used when terminating data cables onto patch panels or modules.
The wire is 'punched' into place on impact when the tool is pressed down and the excess is trimmed all in one swift motion.
It also features a hook-style pullout tool to assist in removing terminated pairs from the block.
